Amphitheatre: a large outdoor concert facility located in West Valley City.
The box office is only open on days of shows. See Web site for information about
other ticket vendors. Many big-name rock and country acts visit USANA. Past events
have featured Rush, Poison and Kenny Chesney. "Utah's Concert Experience."
The 2008 lineup included Journey, Heart, Cheap Trick, The Steve Miller Band, James
Taylor, The Dave Matthews Band, Motley Crue and John Mayer. 2009 includes Def
Leppard, Cheap Trick, Poison, Andre Rieu and Motley Crue. The
Depot: located in the Union Pacific Station in downtown Salt Lake City. The
Depot offers live music, entertainment and fine dining. The venue has a 1200 person
capacity. Past events have featured 311 and Lifehouse. The
E Center: an enclosed stadium facility located in West Valley City. The E
Center was the host venue for the Ice Hockey championships of the 2002 Olympic
Winter Games, and is home to the Utah Grizzlies hockey team. Past concerts have
included Shania Twain, Janet Jackson and Phish. The E Center has also hosted other
entertainment programs such as Stars on Ice, The Shrine Circus,
Arenacross and Monster Trucks. Energy
Solutions Arena: a 20,500 seat arena, located in downtown Salt Lake City.
The Energy Solutions Arena is home to the NBA's Utah Jazz, and has hosted many
types of concerts and events. The ESA will host an Elton John and Billy Joel concert
in 2009. Sandy
Amphitheatre: an outdoor facilitiy, located in Sandy. Past rock concerts have
included Toto and the Lou Gramm Band. The 2008 lineup included Richard Marx and
Sawyer Brown. 2009's schedule includes concerts by Air Supply, Marc Cohn, The
Bellamy Brothers and The Manhattan Transfer. Abravanel
Hall: located in downtown Salt Lake City. Abravanel Hall is home to the Utah
Symphony. The
Tabernacle on Temple Square: Home to the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
Rio
Tinto Stadium: located in Sandy; home of the Salt
Lake Real soccer team. 2009's stellar lineup includes
The Eagles, Kenny Chesney and according to Pollstar.com:
Styx, REO Speedwagon and 38 Special.
Rice-Eccles
Stadium: located at the University of Utah. U2
will visit the venue in 2010.
